So you have a goal. That's great! But, it seems impossible to you. You can't imagine ever accomplishing it. Even just thinking about the goal is frightening. So you might ask, is manifesting the impossible, well, possible?
This post is really an extension of my post about a month ago on current level goals vs. next level goals. In this post, I'll be adding a third category of goal, which I will call the ultimate level goal. I'll define exactly what an ultimate level goal is, clarify what the difference is between each of the three types of goals, and explain how you can start easily manifesting the impossible by attaining your ultimate level goals.
Your Ultimate Level Goals
I've been getting a lot of questions about goals that just seem so big and far away. These are goals that even to try to pursue them just causes you to get hit with huge amounts of resistance. How do you even start to manifest a goal when it feels impossible to you?
I've given some very specific advice over the last few weeks, especially in my post on subconscious structures. However, most of this advice has to do with next level goals, and may not be so useful when applied to ultimate level goals.
You see, just as the process of manifesting next level goals is different from that for manifesting current level goals, while still having some elements in common, so the process for manifesting ultimate level goals is different from manifesting next level goals, while also still having some elements in common. It's just the next level up.
Once you know how to manifest your ultimate level goals, you will have the complete picture: whether you want to manifest a current level goal, next level goal, or ultimate level goal, you'll know what exactly to do to get there.
What Is Impossible?
When talking about manifesting the impossible, it seems relevant to define what “impossible” actually means. It's harder than you may think, because “impossible” means different things to everyone. What seems impossible to one, might seem easy to another.
I mentioned in Spiritual Freedom Support Call #22 that “easy” means different things for everyone, and this is the same principle. It all depends on your own subconscious programming, and your current comfort zone.
For instance, if you're used to having healthy relationships, then this seems rather easy to you. If someone else came to you and said how hard it is to have a healthy relationship, you might think they were crazy. You'd tell them it wasn't hard at all. In fact, this is much of the reason I've not discussed relationships here very much. It is very much on my current level to have a happy, healthy marriage. So, I just can't relate as much to those who have a lot of trouble with this.
So what is impossible? Impossible is whatever you define it to be. It is a subjective measurement. Ask yourself, “What is it I currently want, which seems impossible to me right now?” That is your current measure of “impossible”. You might want to mark that answer somewhere for later reference.
What Seems Impossible Can Change
The great news is that your subjective measure of “impossible” can, and indeed will, change over time. It is not static. In fact, it has probably already changed many times throughout your life.
In the beginning months of Co-Creation Coaching, success often seemed impossible. I desperately wanted to succeed, but even thinking about the current state of my business just made me feel hopeless at times. Even a single sale seemed like a monumental feat.
Now, I am regularly receiving orders. And, if there's a period of time where I might not get as many as I want, I simply set my focus a bit more on increasing sales, and it happens almost instantly, definitely within a day or two. I've tested this out repeatedly.
It's somewhat surreal writing this here, because I've written almost these exact words in my manifestation journal, before it actually happened. But, the above is 100% true in current reality.
Look back through your own life, and pinpoint at least one major desire of yours that once seemed impossible, but now seems rather easy to you. It can be anything. Realizing this for yourself is the first step to manifesting the impossible in your own life.
Everyone Has Ultimate Level Goals
It is my sincere belief that every person has at least one ultimate level goal. There are many people who repress these goals, and refuse to admit their existence. But, they still have them. Countless people say, “I'd love to start a business,” or “I wish I could travel the world.” But then, they don't. They simply remain on their current level, never pushing themselves to do more because it seems too scary. They fear disappointment, so it is safer to remain where they are.
But manifesting the impossible is about imagining the impossible, and finding a way to believe the impossible. Manifesting the impossible is about learning to extend your mind beyond where you are right now, into the future of what you would prefer to experience.

If you're not courageous enough to imagine the impossible, then it will always remain impossible to you. You will not move any closer to that goal.
But if you admit to yourself your ultimate level goals, then you can start to move towards them, little-by-little.
Discovering Your Ultimate Level Goals
I asked you earlier to ask yourself what you've always wanted, but which currently seems impossible. Were you able to find something?
Your impossible goal shouldn't be something you can achieve in a few months of traditional effort. It should be something that is so far out there that you have no idea how you could even start pursuing that goal. That not knowing is okay, and even expected, as long as you admit to yourself what it is you really want.
The Three Types of Goals
Before moving on to how exactly to manifest your seemingly impossible goals, I want to do a brief overview of the three goal types that I've discussed:
- Current level goals
- Next level goals
- Ultimate level goals
There has been some confusion expressed in the comments about the first two, and I want to explain how exactly the third fits in.
Current Level Goals: What's Easy to You Now?
I can always identify immediately when someone is talking about manifesting a current level goal. They'll say something like, “I just felt good about it, let it go and it appeared effortlessly.” But, there was never any doubt about the goal, either, or at least very little.
Everyone has experiences like this. You can manifest $20 here or there, just when you need extra money. One of our commenters recently spoke of getting a part-time job and a significant discount on his insurance, just by briefly intending to manifest greater abundance. That's the exact definition of a current level goal. The subconscious structures are already in place to manifest that goal, so it comes almost without effort.
The level of your goal is defined by the gap between where you are now and where you want to be, and how much your subconscious structures support you achieving that goal. With a current level goal, the gap is very small, and your subconscious structures are already in place to permit that goal immediately.
How can you tell if that's true for your goal? Embody the goal within yourself, and see how much, if any, resistance your subconscious mind introduces. If the goal feels easy and effortless, immediately without requiring any inner work, then it is a current level goal. If there is resistance, and it feels like a stretch, or even impossible, then it is not.
You can ask yourself this simple question: “Does this goal feel easy to me?”
Next Level Goals: Changing Your Subconscious Structures
Most law of attraction techniques, as taught, will allow you to quickly and effortlessly manifest your current level goals. However, this doesn't help with manifesting bigger, more difficult goals, and it definitely doesn't help with manifesting the impossible. These require different processes than that required for current level goals.
So what is a next level goal? Whereas a current level goal is any goal that feels immediately easy to you, a next level goal is any goal that feels like a stretch. It might even feel a bit scary, though not overly so.
Technically speaking, a next level goal is any goal that requires a small to moderate alteration in your subconscious structures. They do not currently support your goal, and so in order to achieve it, you must change those structures to be more supportive of that goal.
It makes sense that these would require a totally different process. Sending energy down the path of your current subconscious structures is easy, and therefore current level goals are easy. But altering that path is difficult, and therefore next level goals are more difficult.
Imagine you have a house that you'd like to add to. You're happy with the house overall, but would like to make some additions: perhaps extra rooms, another story, etc. The structure is good overall, but just has to be altered in places. This is just like your next level goals.
You can ask yourself this simple question: “Does this goal feel like a stretch?”
Ultimate Level Goals: Creating Entirely New Structures
As mentioned, current level goals are easy and effortless, and therefore are easy and effortless to manifest. Next level goals require a bit of alteration, and therefore are more difficult to manifest, because you have to make structural changes to your own energy pathways.
But ultimate level goals are the most difficult of all. This is what I refer to when I say, “manifesting the impossible”. Of course, the impossible is subjective, and so manifesting the impossible will be different for everyone. But to you, this goal will feel impossible, or at least extremely unlikely.
Unfortunately, these goals are also the most inspiring. They pour the most energy through your subconscious structures, but because your subconscious structures don't currently support your goal, it also feels the worst when you really consider it. That's why it is so tempting for many people to completely repress their ultimate level goals. It's easier than undergoing the transformation needed to achieve their dreams.
And indeed, “dream” is a great word for describing ultimate level goals. These are your biggest dreams—the dreams that you've been holding for years, but never quite knew how to pursue, nor perhaps even had the courage to do so.
Back to our house metaphor, now imagine you want an entirely different house. Perhaps now you have an apartment, and want instead to have a house. Or you have a house, but want a log cabin. Or, you'd like a mansion, but currently live on only a few acres of land. The point is, something major has to change. We have to build an entirely new structure from the ground up.
Terrifying, and Yet Massively Inspiring
It's not a perfect metaphor, because you're never going to tear down all of your current subconscious structures and build new ones. But, you're going to modify them little-by-little, until they look totally different than they do right now. Your current structures support an income of $50,000 a year, for instance, but you want to be a multi-millionaire. Or, you work a dead-end job, but want instead a fulfilling career with plenty of room for growth. Or perhaps you have a traditional job, but want to start your own business.
The point is, it requires such a change to your subconscious structures that it just feels terrifying, and yet deep down, massively inspiring, at the same time.
You can ask yourself this simple question: “Does this goal feel impossible, and yet massively inspiring?”
Manifesting the Impossible Is Possible: Here's How
I asked you earlier to think of a goal that felt impossible to you now, and yet that you very much desired to achieve. It's vitally important to admit to yourself what it is you want, so that you can then take the necessary steps to reach it.
So now that you have your ultimate level goal, what is the key to manifesting the impossible? Quite simply, it is to make the impossible feel possible to you.
Making the Impossible Feel Possible
As you saw earlier, things that once felt impossible to you can feel very easy now. So, to manifest your ultimate level goals, you need to do the same thing. You need to change your goal from feeling impossible, to actually feeling easy.
You can't do it all at once. Similar to next level goals, you must make alterations, and those take time. But, you must find a way to make your goal feel easy to you.
That's ultimately the greatest key to the law of attraction. Millionaires aren't millionaires because they feel great all the time. Millionaires are millionaires because money feels easy to them. They are millionaires because they have altered their subconscious structures to support their goal of being millionaires, and it subsequently felt easy.
Therefore, in order to achieve your ultimate level goal, you must make your goal feel easy, by changing your subconscious structures.
Ultimate Level Goals Are Just a Series of Next Level Goals
But how do you even get started making those alterations? Manifesting the impossible is about pursuing goals that are so far above your level that you can't even imagine how to get there.
However, you can imagine perhaps the first step of getting there. As the proverb goes, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” This isn't just a nice-sounding aphorism. It is the key to making your impossible goals feel possible to you, and therefore attainable.
So, take your ultimate level goal, and ask yourself, “What's the very first step to achieving this goal?” It should be something that matches the criteria of a next level goal above. Then, set that as your intermediate goal. Yes, it's difficult, but a whole lot easier than the ultimate level goal you've set.
Then, once you achieve that intermediate goal, you set another intermediate goal. With each intermediate next level goal, you come closer and closer to your ultimate level goal.
Each next level goal should only take a few months at the most to achieve. The point is to have many moderate successes, to build you up to the biggest success when you reach your ultimate level goal.
Keep Your Ultimate Level Goal in Mind
And the great news is, the closer you get, the more your ultimate level goal will feel possible. Slowly over time, it will feel extremely difficult, instead of absolutely impossible. And then, it'll feel challenging. And finally, it'll feel easy, and you'll be there.
You don't have to choose a logical series of steps to your ultimate level goal. It is more important that each next level goal feels closer and closer to your ultimate level goal, and that as you reach each next level goal, your ultimate level goal feels more and more possible to you. In other words, navigate this emotionally, not logically.
The key is to hold the ultimate level goal in mind even as you are pursuing the intermediate goals. Try to focus more on the “massively inspiring” aspect than the “terrifying” aspect. Put yourself in the vibrational signature of that goal regularly.
The more you do this, the more you will show your subconscious mind that this is, indeed, possible. As you hold the feeling of the end-point, it will create the shortest path to getting there. You may be inspired to what next level goal to pursue next. You will find your subconscious structures quickly changing to accommodate your dream, and soon, manifesting the impossible will seem very possible.
Bringing It All Together
I know this was a very long post (what's new, right?). However, to summarize:
- Your ultimate level goal should be a goal that feels terrifying, impossible, and yet massively inspiring.
- The path to your ultimate level goal is setting a series of intermediate next level goals, each of which takes a few months to achieve at most.
- You progressively work on embodying the ultimate level goal, but in a very light and easy way so as to not trigger massive resistance.
- As you achieve each next level goal, your ultimate level goal will feel more and more possible.
This is the key to manifesting the impossible. By taking small, manageable steps, and progressively embodying the seemingly impossible goal, it begins to feel more and more possible, until finally it becomes easy to you.
It comes down to daring to dream, and having the courage to pursue that dream. It won't be easy, but if you take the necessary steps, you will succeed.
How About You?
