A few weeks ago, I told a story about how I dropped my ring, couldn't find it at first, but employed a certain technique that allowed me to find it within minutes.
Well, the same thing just happened yesterday (different item though), and I got the same result.
So on Friday, we had just gotten a refund check in the mail after our failed attempt at Nutrisystem.
Christine was gone when I checked the mail and found the check, so I couldn't give it to her right away. So, I placed the check in my office so I could give it to her later.
Well, the place I happened to place it was on top of my portable sound booth where I have my microphone. Unfortunately, Friday night I had to tear that down because I was doing the Facebook Live stream for Readers Questions, and the box would have gotten in the way of the video (still trying to find a better setup).
So, long story short, yesterday Christine asks me where the check is. And momentarily I thought I had given it to her. Then I remember, “Oh, wait, it was on top of the sound box, and then… I had torn down that sound box, and…” ?
Keep in mind, losing something as a blind person isn't a trivial matter. We can't just look around quickly and say, “Oh, there it is.” We have to meticulously feel around and hope to come across it.
However, I also have a reputation in my home for being the finder, even though I'm more blind than Christine, so figure that one out. ?
Anyway, so this check is clearly lost. I riffle through the papers on my desk, but none of them feel like the check, which feels pretty distinctive.
Now here's the key point. About this time, my ego's tempted to start panicking. It's not an insignificant check: it was around $250 or so, so definitely not something I'd like to lose.
Then I think back to the ring experience. And tell myself to practice wu wei (non-doing). I tell myself to stop panicking and just enter the flow.
Then, no kidding, only about 15 seconds elapse before I find the check.
A random thought entered my head, “Well, I may as well take a walk around the room to see if it's on the floor somewhere.”
I take two steps, and… there it is, peaking out from under the aforementioned sound box.
So, what's this have to do with your manifestations?
In moments of great stress, such as when you hit resistance, or when you just can't seem to get your manifestation, it is tempting to panic, or try to force matters from a place of ego.
But when we're in ego, we can't listen to the voice of intuition guiding us to the perfect solution.
In the moment I let go, the voice of my own intuition led me to take a few steps, which led me directly to the check.
If I had panicked, I might have spent an hour or more looking everywhere for that check.
So, when things seem hopeless and you're tempted to panic or to take uninspired action, remember the principle of wu wei, and stop trying so hard. Enter the flow, and allow the Universe to guide you to the solution.
In my new class, The Art of Reality Creation 3.0, I teach you exactly how to enter this flow state so you can quickly and effortlessly manifest any desire, free of stress or anxiety.
In other words, I'll teach you how to use wu wei as a powerful tool to achieve anything.
I'm streaming the second part of the class tomorrow evening, so it's a perfect time to sign up now and get caught up.
